Summary

Introduced with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Bill 2018, the bill: repeals the

Australian Aged Care Quality Agency Act 2013
and
Australian Aged Care Quality Agency (Transitional Provisions) Act 2013
; provides for the transfer of the functions and operation of the Australian Aged Care Quality Agency and Aged Care Complaints Commissioner to the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission; provides for the transfer of members of the Quality Agency Advisory Council to the Aged Care Quality and Safety Advisory Council; and makes consequential amendments to the
Aged Care Act 1997
